A Data-Driven Strategy for Taiwan’s Technological Advancement and Competitive Strength


The project sets out to build an evidence-based evaluation model that helps the public sector better understand start-up industry and make decisions that safeguard the industry’s leading edge. By integrating various data sources such as the WoS, USPTO patents, GRB , ORCID, and several others, this project investigates Taiwan’s academic and industrial potentialities by identifying the competitive academic and technological fields, .examining researcher’s communities and networks in the fields, analyzing their technological dependence, and investigating the allocation of R&D resources. By exploring these perspectives, this project aims to strengthen Taiwan’s innovative energy in all its efforts.
